What a fun trip! Although seeing all that snow reminds me of all the shoveling I did today.

My favorite beer was a stone brewed beer I had in Illinois. The brewers would heat up slate until it was red hot and drip them in the hoppers. The hot stones caramelized the sugars. So good.

Wow that beer sounds INTENSE! I’ve never heard of that but now I must have it!!

The snowshoeing was GREAT! I had such a blast.

Oh man — I had to comment when I saw your last question! Dortmunder Gold, by Great Lakes Brewing (from Cleveland, but they sell it here in Chicago). It is SO good — rich, but smooth. Haha — maybe I’m bad at describing beers! But it’s awesome!

I am such a dummy when it comes to describing beer. LOL Um…”It’s good.” That’s about what I can come up with.

ah… I LOVE this post!! 🙂 I lived in Central Oregon (Sunriver) for a while, opening the spa at the resort…

I love Bend + Sunriver… it is absolutely a fitness mecca… I was golfing, running, biking, skiing playing tennis EVERY DAY !! You can ski there half days through July! 🙂

glad you had an awesome time, and YAY – new snowshoes!

Sure looks like you two are having loads of fun. My favorite beer is Heineken. Yum!

Those pictures of the scenery are so beautiful. Looks like a great time. I’m jealous of the cabin in the woods. 🙂

It was a really special day. I loved that we trekked through the snow to the cabin!
