I love having breakfast foods for dinner! Eggs are one of my favorite things of all time, hands down.

And yes, I definitely struggle with keeping up healthy habits when I have life stressors going on. I agree too with the exercise/eating part. For me, I usually keep the exercise up and its a major stress reliever, but it’s much harder for me to stick with healthy eating.

I know…why is it so hard to keep up with healthy eating? At least the exercise balances it out.

Jalapenos and sausage. A marriage made in heaven. Or your kitchen.

It was spicy on top of spicy!

    Your fritatta looks delish!

I have a hard time eating well when I’m stressed out too. I did some stress eating last night and after I said to myself, “Something’s bothering you. What IS it?” Usually it’s something I can’t bring myself to face up to. Or it’s something out of my control. When it is something out of my control, like waiting to hear about a new job, I totally turn to food. Not having control over my life is just something I don’t deal with well!

That’s good that you asked yourself that question.

I usually know WHY I’m stress eating. But knowing WHY doesn’t keep me from doing it, unfortunately!

This looks delish! I have just come across your site.

Staying motivated has always been a huge struggle for me. I am loving these answers.

oooh I havent had breakfast for dinner in ages!!

For me, staying motivated in times of struggle first requires me to admit that I am struggling. Once I have done that, and chatted about how I am feeling, I find that I can then focus on bringing it all ‘back into the light’ šŸ™‚

    1. Lisa Eirene

I wonder if I do that…if I am often in denial about whether I’m struggling. That’s good food for thought (so to speak)…

omg, WOW, I like never try recipes, but I might try that one, looks really good.
“For me the one constant in my life no matter what stressful, maddening, saddening struggle might happen to me is exercise” I’m the same. Even in my worst of injured times, I’d sit on the spinner crying, but pedaling away.
Me & you, we’re lucky to have that mindset MUST WORKOUT. šŸ™‚

    1. Lisa Eirene

Yep! It works in our favor. Until we get injured and CAN’T work out….But at least we found other things we COULD do!
