Woohoo!! Awesome job. It’s funny what a good motivator rain is to run faster!

Thanks!! Yes, strange motivators can be very helpful… 🙂

Great job!!! You are a rockstar! I have been making excuses not to run and telling myself, I’ll just ride my bike, but I know, eventually, I’ll have to get out there again. I am thinking of training for a 10K in Sept, to keep up with the running. The Irongirl 5K/10K – I’m excited!

I have found having a specific goal to train for is a lot easier to get my butt moving!

great job on your run. My motto is “the faster I run, the sooner I’m done”. I have been off the computer all day, so I didn’t read your post on gu’s until now, but I love the sports beans. They really helped me on my long runs. I don’t like the gu’s, but the beans are great.

It seems pretty unanimous that Sports Beans rule. I’m excited to try them!

Oh that is BRILLIANT!! Great work 🙂 hehe I ran last night and it was a slower run than I normally do – although it didn’t FEEL any slower…strange huh? I blame it on the headwind 😉

    1. hundredtenpounds

Running/biking into a head wind is BRUTAL! Good job running through it. 🙂

are you training for a particular race? what is it? keep up the good work!

    1. hundredtenpounds

I’m training for two races, actually. My 55 mile bike ride is May 15th. Then my relay race (running) is in August. It’s called Hood To Coast.
