I actually don’t love the gym! I prefer running and biking outside, but maybe if I was actually more consistent about lifting weights I wouldn’t mind it as much… maybe. 🙂

I have many moments when I do not love the gym. But I love how I feel when I lift weights!

I’m not a gym rat… yet! But, I’m on my way there. I’ve started going to boot camp classes 5x/week.. now I just need to get myself to run, bike & swim more! Your blog has been super inspiring for me, as I’m on my personal journey to lose 100+ lbs!! Keep up all the great entries, and feel free to motivate me at http://www.futurefitgirl.com. Lord knows I need it, as the initial “excitement” of this new lifestyle is wearing off… but I need to keep it up. I’ve only lost 9 lbs so far… 96 more to go!!!

How do you like the Boot Camp Classes? I think it sounds like such a fun way to workout! I will definitely check out your blog. Great job trying to lose weight! Keep at it.

Boot Camp classes are great!! I love that the exercises are always changing so I never dread going or getting bored because it is always something new! The instructor of my boot camp class is a former body builder (she won some national championships I believe), but she is SUPER nice and motivating. My sister in law told me that she went to some at her gym and the instructor was yelling as if they were in the military… mine isn’t operated that way, but there are so many different “boot camp classes” out there, I guess that is what makes them all different!

I think that’s great. I love the idea of a boot camp that changes up the routine. Boredom is the quickest way to quit exercising. Keep at it! It sounds like you enjoy it!

yes I am a gym rat! I unlocked that badge on foursquare, hehe!
You’re right, nice weather is near, and I personally would rather be out in the sun than in the gym! Is your gym relatively close enough to bike to, do your weights, and bike home? I’m sure you’ll figure out something to get the best of both worlds.

When I used Foursquare I was the mayor of my gym. LOL!

I might be able to bike to the gym this summer. I’d need to figure out a safe route that didn’t go on the highway.
