Fun! We totally plan on hitting Last Thursday at least once this summer since our friends live right there. I’ve convinced Chris he can “work from home” at least one Friday. His co-workers do it alllll the time.

    I hate disappointing hummus. Boo!

I’m excited about you guys coming down! It will give us an excuse to try new things that are “Portland” yet we’re too lazy to do normally. LOL

Ok, I stared at that sign for a good 30 seconds trying to figure out what “I LOVE TOENAILS DONUTS” could possibly mean.

BRB getting more coffee. Apparently I need it this morning.

LOL thankfully there were no toenails involved. Drink more coffee. I’m the same way this morning apparently.

Looks like such a fun night! Especially ending it with donut holes… yum!!!

What a fun time out! I’m a gyro junky and could seriously hurt myself on that and hummus.

I need that fire pit. Wouldn’t it be cool to have something like that in your backyard to hang out around on the weekend? Love it!

Yeah but it has to be good gyros/hummus! This batch was disappointing. I still need my Greek fix, I think.

I would love a fire pit in our back yard. We have a great yard for it too.

    Hi Lisa!
I recently stumbled across your blog and became an instant fan. You totally inspired me to not only get back to a healthy weight, but to start my own blog as well. I hope you’ll check it out at whatyougain.wordpress.com. I just started it so there’s just a few posts so far, but I’d love your feedback.
As for writing, I’m totally with you on old school. I love my iPad and laptop, but there’s nothing like good old-fashioned pen and ink. I’m kind of a paper and ink junkie. Lol. I collect journals and stationery and love unique or handmade paper and beautiful vintage style pens. I’ve been writing poetry for over 30 years and everything I’ve ever written started with a pen and a piece of paper.
Anyway, I applaud your success and look forward to becoming friends. Have a great day!

Hi Lara, thanks for commenting. Good luck to you on your journey. I’ll check out your website.

I love collecting journals and stationary too. I kinda miss the “old days” when I had pen pals and we’d write to each other the old fashioned way. It’s kinda sad that kids today will never do that.

I also write better with a pen and paper. I love it. Writing on the computer feels weird to me. My hand cramps up, but I still prefer it.

I love writing with pen and paper too! I write a lot of articles this way. I think it helps my thoughts flow easier. And not having the distraction of the Internet definitely helps!

I am easily distracted by the internet!!
