It looks like you had a beautiful day for biking! I actually want to start biking when I finish C25K. We’ll see.

I hope your leg is feeling better! ouch!

I know it sucks to have bad workout days, but I always think it is better to get it out of the way now, than to have a bad race day. I have had a crummy workout week too. Just plain tired. Maybe something is in the air here on the west coast.

Thanks!! You are right– I’d rather have a good race day!

Don’t underestimate how hard biking on a flat is. I did that for 5 miles to get to the nearest pump (in a really hilly area). That was just enough to fill and get to a bike shop. I was totally wiped from that.

Some rides are just tough, even when you are in great shape.

When I did my duathlon last fall, that was such a challenge to me and one of the hardest things I ever did. I’m going to do it again, too LOL

Thanks, I feel better after hearing others had similar struggles. I’d love to do a duathlon. Did you do that before attempting a thriathlon (if you’ve done one)?

I did a triathlon before the duathlon. I like the du better because I don’t like to swim LOL
