all that and no weight loss? the body is a fickle thing–but it sure sounds like you know your body well!

Silly, right?? I think my body is so used to the intense exercise that I do all the time that it’s holding onto food. Boo.

321 is not NOTHING! I did a yoga class last week and it was one hour and I only burned 165 calories. I thought I hadn’t gotten a good workout, but the next two days I was SO sore! It’s good to work your body in different ways – keep it guessing!

Oh I know it’s not “nothing” but when I usually burn 400+ calories for a swim session it’s really hard not to compare. For swimming I compare my time/calories burned/etc to see progress and stuff. I agree that calories aren’t always the most important thing though.

Thanks for the recipe Leah! I will check that out.

I think you are right, 144 is your comfortable weight! I think you look awesome, if that helps!

With the guy at the pool, maybe next time try and catch him and strike up a convo. Like “Hey, have you been swimming long?”. Its much nicer to get advice that way!

I think what I weigh now is probably what I will stay at! I am ok with that.

That’s a good suggestion for the pool guy. I will try that!

Well dang – bummer that you didn’t lose. Good for you on giving it another try, though! I’ll eat some fruit for you 😀

Hehehe! I “cheated” yesterday and ate some strawberries!

when did you stop coffee for a year, was it when you were very actively losing weight? 🙂 if so it’s probably because you had something that you wanted SO MUCH MORE than coffee, right? now you are at (or nearly?) your perfect weight, and you know that your drinking coffee now isn’t necessarily a hinderance… just a thought! 😀

It’s a good theory. But last year I quit coffee because of insomnia I was having.

But I think you might be right on in terms of being where I’m probably supposed to be. I think that’s why the diet isn’t working for me and I’m having a hard time being enthusiastic about it.
