Looks like yummy eats. Sorry I’ve been MIA – ironic since I’m actually literally closer to you these days!

We had a great weekend – did you know that Hawthorne has a candy bus??? And we’re 10 blocks from Swirl froyo!!!! And the scale was still looking good this morning!

Now I have to figure out how praying for sun can burn some calories!

How was your weekend in Portland? Anything fun?

I did NOT know that Hawthorne had a candy bus and I’m kinda glad I don’t know where it is! Don’t tell me! 🙂

Glad to see a review on those chickpeas! I see them at TJ’s all the time but haven’t yet tried them. I like spicy so these are right up my alley. Wonder if they can be incorporated into a cold salad of some sort?

Oh..and thanks for the tips on the pizza making. I stopped trying because I could never get the bottom of my crust to crisp up. I’ll try your method next time!

Let me know how your pizza turns out if you try it again!

I liked the Trader Joe’s chickpeas a lot. I saw there were a few different flavors. I bet it would be just as good cold.

Ohh those chickpeas look AWESOME. I was just at TJ’s this weekend and didn’t spot those – I’ll have to look for them next time!

I love using chickpeas in quinoa or couscous salad!

You’ll love the chickpeas. They were great. They were right next to the TJ Indian food in the packets that you can heat up really fast.

I’m trying to pay attention to the healthy stuff you ate but we just found that Red Chair here in Montana and I LOVE it. Is it from a Portland brewery?

I think it might be from Deschutes!

The beer was leftover from a houseguest we had last month and he left a few behind. They are good!
