I saw the story on the little girl in the news. I cannot even imagine what her family is going through!! And wow.. two losses in your life in two days. You really did need that bike ride. I hope you are doing ok!

I’m okay. The first few days were hard because it was all I thought about. But being on vacation and having distractions this week has helped.

Oh my God. I’m so sorry you had such an emotional week. I’m like you where it feels like it’s happening so close even though it’s not me or my immediate family. We’re just empathetic like that. My heart goes out to both the families.

We had a nice quick weekend trip – workmen got the rest of the condo painted and some lighting installed. We met up with about 8 friends at D Street for good times. We’ll be back on the 23rd for a whirlwind trip with Chris’ youngest sister. Hoping to have a birthday dinner on the 23rd so check to see if you’re free. Otherwise we can get together Fri or Sat, the 26th/27th?

It’s definitely hard when someone you work with dies or has a tragedy. You see them every day…

I think the 23rd or 27th would work! It would be good to see you guys.

I’m behind on blog reading and just got to this post. I am SO SORRY to hear about your coworkers’s daughter. I can’t even imagine dealing with that kind of pain.

I can’t imagine it either. The funerals are both on Friday of this week. It’s going to be a rough day.
