I love lemon too, especially in dessert. I actually bought a tiny lemon tree from Gurney’s online last year to grow indoors (I live in Missouri so outdoor citrus is not an option). It’s now over 3 feet tall and getting the tiniest, cutest blossoms on it. They smell SO amazing, like fresh lemon zest. I’m going to put it outside for the spring and summer and hope to see some baby lemons on it soon!

I’ve always wanted to have a lemon tree but the weather is not conducive to that here in Oregon. I had no idea you could grow them indoors!!

I got the idea from this blog: http://www.agrowingtradition.com/search/label/meyer%20lemon. I bought a dwarf Meyer lemon tree, so it will only get about 4 or 5 feet tall and can grow in a 15 gallon container. I have a lime tree too! Since you’ve become interested in gardening, you should check his blog out. He has great photos, and I’m so jealous of his garden.

That is such a cool idea. His blog looks great. Thanks for the recommendations!

Oh my. That looks like the most delicious dessert, EVER! I am absolutely obsessed with anything lemon, and lemon-based desserts are my absolute fave.

I have got to make this soon … thanks for sharing!

I love lemon desserts too. There’s just something wonderful about the bitter, tartness mixed with sweet. YUM
