I’m a total omelet freak when out for breakfast. I love omelets and even though I make them at home, something about restaurant omelets are better! Sugary syrup makes me cranky and tired, even though I LOVE pancakes and french toast.

My family always made buckwheat pancakes when I was younger, but they’re hard to find in restaurants these days, so I usually end up making my own. When it comes to ordering breakfast in a restaurant, I’m another omelet freak.

I desperately miss old fashioned breakfasts (eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast). Now I have Green Monsters for breakfast, but maybe a fancy breakfast every so often wouldn’t hurt!

I’ve also never been much of a morning person so actually going out to pay for food with other people, well let’s just say it wouldn’t be a pleasant experience for those with me!

Good for you on ordering what you did after a little too much celebrating – that is success in my book.

I find breakfast hard to order out – love omelets, hashbrowns, WAFFLES with fruit and whipped cream.

Usually I go for egg white omelets now filled with veggies and a little ham, dry english muffin and tomatoe slices. It’s enough to fill a plate and also feel satisfying.

Waffles are a new obsession for me lately. I’d like to try some good ones and then try to make my own.
