Great tips! I’m going to attempt a 6am run tomorrow. Anytime after that it will be too hot. I always wear a hat and water bottle that wraps around my hand. I’ve been getting side cramps too, no clue why? πŸ™

If you find out what the cramping is caused by, let me know!! It’s sooo annoying!

Yay! I am glad the cream worked for you. It’s interesting stuff, I have to say.

I just don’t run in that heat. It’s too much for me. I sweat profusely, so I don’t risk going out when it is in the 80s. I’ll do mornings only, or take it to the treadmill.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to switch to morning runs when it’s over 85 degrees!

Do you know yet which leg you are running for HTC? We are having our team meeting tonight to fight over leg assignments; I have already run 1, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 11. This year my first choice is 10, second choice is 12 and third choice is 8.

I think I’m doing legs 12, 24 and 36. We haven’t had a team meeting yet. The team I joined has all done it for like 8 years and no one cares what legs they do. Which is good for me! πŸ™‚

I feel you — all winter long when I was griping about the snow, I should have remembered what summer is like.

You are so disciplined! Way to go. πŸ™‚

You are too funny! I was the same way. Complaining about the never ending rain and now it’s too hot. LOL
