I believe that everyone is busy, but what it comes down to is how you decide to prioritize your time. If you want to lose weight, or gain strength, or whatever your goal is, then you have to carve out some amount of time to do it! Just like anything. Make it a priority. 🙂

Agree 100%. I used to watch SO MUCH TV. Entire weekends were spent on the couch. I definitely had time!

I love your life “time is something that has to be made”. VERY wise Lisa!!! Have a great Tuesday.

My second biggest annoyance when people complain about their weight but won’t do anything about it is complaining about a lack of time. There are very few people who are booked up 16 hours a day and really can’t do anything besides work and sleep. Really, they are just choosing how they spend their time, and they don’t want to chose the gym. I don’t watch much TV anymore (maybe 2 hours a week) because I chose to do other things, like go to the gym and cook healthy meals! I’m a busy lady (second year teacher, LDR which sees me out of town every second weekend, etc) and I still manage to see the inside of a gym 4-6 times a week.

I agree Jess. Honestly, my boyfriend watches more tv than me and it’s something we tend to do together so I watch more tv now that I’m used to. BUT at the same time, we are weeks behind on every show because there are some weeks I’m too busy to watch tv. And that’s ok with me. I still fit in my gym time!

You’re right Lisa. There’s always time to workout . . . if we make it a priority. For some the priority is Jersey Shore, but if someone is serious about losing weight and getting fit, they’ll scrounge up the time somewhere.

    Cheers!

Or what about the Biggest Loser? Why not run on a treadmill at the gym while watching it?

I’ve been eating my burgers without cheese too. It’s not nearly as good!

I didn’t miss the cheese at the time because the avocado was pretty good. But I do like cheese on my burger. 🙂

I agree – it’s all about making time. I’ve noticed once I made time, enough times, it got to the point where I couldn’t imagine NOT doing a workout. Working out eventually becomes as much a part of your life as taking a shower each day – you just do it automatically without thinking about it. I’ve said I’m like a freight train when it comes to working out regularly. It takes a ton of time and momentum to get me going, but once I’m going, it’s really hard to stop me!

I feel the same way, Jill. Now I’m so used to it, it feels weird NOT to!
