That’s so funny! I had three people tell me that this weekend and I don’t see it!

Gosh, what a fantastic picture of your grandmother! I hope she is doing well!

She is doing very well. She’s 94 I think now!

What a full weekend, especially Saturday! I have been kayaking and have enjoyed it, don’t like when it gets really hard, though, as it seems your trip did. I’m glad your grandma is still in good health at her age and you were able to spend some time together, that’s really precious!

I’m glad I was able to spend some time with her, too. Just wish it was more.

Gosh you look so much like your grandmother!

I went kayaking for the first time last summer and I really liked it. I like it better than canoeing, actually. My sister has a canoe and we had been out in that, but I took a kayaking class at my women’s weekend last year. It was definitely good to take a class and learn how to work the paddles 😀

I don’t know that I’d like canoeing as much as kayaking. I liked how stable the kayak felt. I don’t want to be responsible for the canoe tipping over!!!

I love adding kayaking into my vacations because then it at least feels like I’ve exercised a little lol!

I definitely felt like I got a workout!!

Wow, your updated room was fancy! Glad that worked out in the end – and car service? Genius!

I love, love, love that picture of your Grandma. When I look at my grandmas high school year book (that my Mom has) I see all these 18 year old kids and they look like they are in their 30s!

We could have taken the bus to the wine tasting but it would have been an hour. This was much better!

Your grandmother was beautiful and you really do look like her! Sounds like a fantastic day- I would love to go kayaking and all that wine tasting!

It was a great day. Busy but fantastic.

Sounds like an awesome weekend. I was in Seattle in January and I really didn’t like it. It was freezing (literally, below zero Celsius the whole time) and after San Fran… Well we didn’t fall in love. BUT I enjoyed having ‘been there!’ moments looking at your photos!

I love kayaking, but it is so expensive. My favourite time was last time, in December. My now fiance and I had were still testing the relationship waters, so to speak. He decided to try and impress me by doing a sharp turn in his kayak. Well, he ended up falling out! I laughed so hard that I nearly fell out of my kayak! It was a hot day so he dried out 😀

That’s too bad! Seattle isn’t really cold, it’s just damp in the winter. If you aren’t used to it, it can be pretty miserable. The perfect time to visit the Northwest is like September or October.

Too funny about your fiance! Poor guy!!
