    Your post inspired me to make soup for dinner! Very basic – meatbals, potatoes, chicken stock, garlic, can of tomatoes, and some spices – but it totally hit the spot! Bonus is that there is leftovers which means lunch tomorrow is sorted.

      Yum! I love having soup as lunch too. Whenever I make soup I make plenty so I have leftovers.

    It looks yummy. I might have to give the recipe a try. It sounds sort of like a minestrone soup. Which of course reminds me of my childhood since my Mom always made huge batches of it during colder times. I love the soup making in the winter. I have a squash soup and pumpkin soup I am going to make big batches of to freeze this weekend, as well as making french bread from scratch.
