Congrats on your success! I tried low carb and with all my cycling I just didn’t have enough energy. I eat more Zone style with more fat, more protein and moderate carb.

In the 80s, I was on the Snackwell diet and gained weight LOL.

I decided to try something different this year after cycling thousands of miles and not seeing a difference at all on the scale. So far, so good!

We were all deceived in the 80s.

You are kind of doing a modified slow-carb diet thing right?

        1. Michael

The only thing I’m doing that has to do with the slow-carb diet is that the abundance of my carbs are low-glycemic carbs.

I’m not eating the enormous breakfasts.
I’m eating fruits from time to time.
I’m drinking my calories more often than he does.
I’m not doing a major binge day either.

            Ok thanks for clarifying.

Ah yes the Snackwell foods… Lacking all flavor and fun! But low in calories…

Yep, hand raised – also the queen of “fat free” food back in the early 90s! Michael, I love your love of pickled jalapenos! And eggs cooked in bacon fat – pretty sure we could be best friends 😀

You should see our garage fridge–full of pickled jalapenos!
