Hi! I’m very new to your site (just a week or two…) and I’m in the beginning stages of my weight loss/get healthy journey. (18 pounds lost so far/100 or so to go!)

This may be something that you’ve talked about in the past, but I’m sure I missed it. What would you do to keep yourself motivated during your plateaus? Did you even have plateaus? I haven’t hit mine yet, but it was always when I hit plateaus in the past that I would get derailed and eventually quit. I just really don’t want that to happen again!

    Any advice would be AWESOME!

I will definitely write something addressing that! Check back soon. πŸ™‚

Hello! I wish you would write about how to get over the mental barrier when running long distances like you did for Hood to Coast. I can manage the physical stuff, but making myself run for such long distances makes my mind either bored/frustrated/lazy.

I have never had Popchips, but I see them everywhere on the internet now.

Maybe you could talk about how you go about planning out your meals and if you follow a sort of base formula/pattern for them.

After reading the story of how you transformed your life and your body, I would be very interested in knowing the affects the weight loss has had on your body. I only know my body at 330+ pounds. I am curious about where you have gained muscles you may not have thought about to begin with. I am also curious to know about lose/saggy skin. Do you have any that you wouldn’t attribute to age (NOT that you are old, but we all know what happens as you age, things just aren’t as firm as they once were)? Is my lose/saggy skin going to be has bad as I have it pictured in my head? I also know everyone’s body is different…just curious about your experience.

I love popchips! They have turned into my go too food when I am craving potato chips.

This would be one thing I would love to hear about from you. For example,
    Eat this , not that….
If I’m carving Peanut Butter, I should eat this and not Peanut butter.

I would also love to hear about how you used to handle stress and how you handle it now.

Another idea would be to create a monthly/weekly grocery shopping list. What are the foods you buy almost every time your at the grocery store.

I will also be posting this on my blog (which I’m struggling to keep current, so you probably will not get a lot of traffic from me, sorry!

Hi, I’m a new reader… I think it’d be interesting to read about how to stay motivated to eat healthy when all you want to do is lie on the sofa and snack on chips (obviously I’m speaking from experience). thanks!

I think you should post about sleep. I’m new to your blog so I’m not sure if you have!

    Hi Lisa,
As you know, I love reading your blog – One that I read regularly. I would love to know what you do to motivate yourself? Or did you have a tipping point about the realization of working out, like your tipping point of knowing enough was enough.

I am at the point where I need motivation……I’ve lost 30 pounds and been stagnant since. I see pictures and see no change. With winter coming – the only thing getting me to the gym right now is my desire to watch Weeds on Netflix through my iPhone.

Hmmm, I’ve heard such good things about popchips!!

Ummm, one thing to write about? How about more of your process of maintaining your weight loss. Do you track everything you eat? If not, how do you make sure you eat the right amount of carbs/fats etc. to maintain your weight loss? πŸ™‚

    Hi Lisa!

I love reading your blog, I find it so inspiring. I joined Weight Watchers 6 months ago and have lost close to 30 pounds. my numbers are pretty close to what yours were in the begining, and where I would like to be, so I find your blog a great read, as I love seeing someone eat real meals and stay healthy with their weight loss, not go the starvation method.

My question for you is, while you were loosing weight, did you ever reach points where you get burnt out from resisting cravings all the time? I’m having a lot of trouble with that.

    Thanks!
