Yay! I’m so so SO excited about the cookbook!! It sounds right up my alley. πŸ™‚

Have you ever thought about getting a knee brace thing to wear on your knee if running hurts it? I have one of those bands that goes just under the knee cap and it makes a world of a difference with pain.

Really? I have a knee brace and my sports medicine doc said I didn’t need it. Maybe I should give it a try.

I’m looking forward to seeing which recipes you try!

I love open faced turkey BLT sandwiches- I get a piece of french bread, melt some low fat cheese, some turkey, 2 pieces of turkey bacon and top with lettuce, tomato & some fresh ground pepper. Sometimes I add a twist by making it bruschetta style & adding diced chicken. So yummy! Great job on the workouts & the weight loss- I found ya on Twitter.

Ugh…I’m sorry you’re still dealing with the knee thingy. How frustrating. It sucks when you do everything right (time off – taking it nice and easy getting back – basically, being smart about it) and it still rears its ugly head. Hope you’re back on track ASAP.

Oh…and I’m going to come down on the anti-canned-salmon side of things. Sorry! Girl, you live in the PNW. Get yourself some fresh salmon. πŸ™‚

Normally I’d eat fresh! I prefer it but the recipe called for canned!! πŸ˜‰ I can’t not follow the recipe…

I would agree with the other poster to try a brace. Docs don’t always know everything πŸ˜€ Are you doing good stretching? My challenge of at least 4 days a week of stretching has really been beneficial and I wonder if it is a big reason behind how much better running feels to me now.

As for open faced sammie – my true favorite is the hot turkey and gravy served with a side of mashed!
