My glutes and my quads haven&#8217;t felt this sore in a long time!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/gluteus_maximus.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10014\" title=\"gluteus_maximus\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/gluteus_maximus.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"208\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The reason I am sore is because I stopped doing my Hip Strengthening exercise for almost 2 weeks. I was dealing with the &#8220;injuries&#8221; that put me in a boot and I stopped doing the exercises.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/quad-pull.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10015\" title=\"quad-pull\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/quad-pull.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/quad-pull.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/quad-pull-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a>Since I was finally out of the boot on Tuesday I started the exercises back up. Wednesday I woke up with a sore butt! If I ever doubted if those strengthening exercises worked or not, I now have evidence that they do.<\/p>\n<p>Check me out! No boot!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/no-boot.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10016\" title=\"no boot\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/no-boot-e1291917879283-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/no-boot-e1291917879283-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/no-boot-e1291917879283.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>Plus, I gave the treadmill a try. After two weeks of no jogging or running I ran 1.5 miles on the treadmill with no incident.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/treadmill.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10017\" title=\"treadmill\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/treadmill-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/treadmill-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/treadmill.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>That means today I&#8217;m also sore from that. But it&#8217;s a good sore. After my run I lifted weights focusing on my shoulders, chest and biceps. I took it easy on the back last night.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/foamroller.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10019\" title=\"foamroller\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/foamroller-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/foamroller-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/foamroller.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>After I was done doing my weight lifting I spent some extra time stretching and using my<a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/?p=2652\"> Foam Roller<\/a>. What a huge difference a run makes on my mood! It was like the bad stuff that had happened in the last few weeks were gone from my mind. Now if only I could REALLY run&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Michael picked up a pizza from Papa Murphy&#8217;s.\u00a0 We got the deLite meat pizza and I had 3 slices at 190 calories each slice. Here is the brand:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/buns.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10024\" title=\"buns\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/buns-e1291919429293-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/buns-e1291919429293-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/buns-e1291919429293.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>Country Oven buns and they are only 190 calories each. I bought them at Fred Meyer (Kroger).<\/p>\n<p>Now for the part I&#8217;ve been dreading&#8230;progress photos. I know I&#8217;ve made a lot of progress since I was 250 pounds but&#8230;.it&#8217;s still hard to see how doughy I was.<\/p>\n<p>Now for the update on how the weight training has been going. Not a ton but there is definitely more muscle definition in my biceps.
