I&#8217;m okay with that. I needed a break and knew that it would be hard for me to enjoy the holiday weekend with putting restrictions on myself.<\/p>\n<p>Despite not counting my calories, I think I did pretty well with my food. Yes, I indulged in lots of sweets&#8211;too many to be honest&#8211;but the other food that indulged in was all healthy, homemade food.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Snow-Ornament-1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11014\" title=\"Snow-Ornament-1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Snow-Ornament-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Snow-Ornament-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Snow-Ornament-1.jpeg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI swam Thursday and Sunday, and worked out at the gym on Friday. I still got my workouts in despite the holiday plans. I did not ride my bike on Christmas Day like I had planned. Instead I took the day off from all exercise. It was nice to relax.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday afternoon PGE arrived and fixed our power so we once again had heat and electricity in the whole house! Yay! Then we went over to my friend Star&#8217;s house for Christmas Dinner #2. It was a home-cooked, hearty meal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/roast1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10995\" title=\"roast1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/roast1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/roast1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/roast1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nShe did her famous cornbread (at my request).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/cornbread1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10996\" title=\"cornbread1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/cornbread1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/cornbread1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/cornbread1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/cornbread2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10997\" title=\"cornbread2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/cornbread2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/cornbread2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/cornbread2.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nShe also created her own roast recipe with gravy and peppers and onions. The roast fell apart with a fork&#8211;no knife needed. It was the perfect winter meal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/dinner12.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10998\" title=\"dinner1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/dinner12-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/dinner12-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/dinner12.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nMichael and I brought over a nice bottle of Merlot and it went well with the roast.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/wine.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11000\" title=\"wine\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/wine-e1293472367366-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/wine-e1293472367366-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/wine-e1293472367366.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nStar received some fancy Bavarian chocolate from a friend living in Germany. What did she do with it? She made her famous fudge. Oh.My.God.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/fudge.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11001\" title=\"fudge\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/fudge-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/fudge-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/fudge.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nShe makes the most amazing fudge I&#8217;ve ever had. Mmm! We opened presents. There were gifts for Fat Kitty too. Michael got Star some kitty toys for her munchkins. And also attempting to STOP SNACKING!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>QUESTION: How far off the plan did you go this weekend?
