I always ate breakfast because skipping it wasn&#8217;t really any option. When I was 250 pounds I ate a lot of cereals for breakfast. But since a serving of cereal is about 1\/2 a cup I&#8217;m guessing that I was eating 3 servings of cereal at a time. Plus it was cereal like Fruity Pebbles (yum), Frosted Flakes and Frosted Mini Wheats. Noticing a theme?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/cocoapebbles.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-13583\" title=\"cocoapebbles\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/cocoapebbles-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/cocoapebbles-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/cocoapebbles.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Sugar!<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/images.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13123\" title=\"images\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/images.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"187\" height=\"269\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThen I thought I was being healthy by buying those humongous muffins from Costco. You know the ones&#8211;they are huge and about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livestrong.com\/thedailyplate\/nutrition-calories\/food\/costco\/chocolate-muffin\/\">700 calories<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/images-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13124\" title=\"images-1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/images-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAnd of course there&#8217;s temptations at work like donuts, croissants, muffins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/images-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13125\" title=\"images-2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/images-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nYet I was never satisfied with breakfast. I would be hungry an hour later. It took me awhile to realize that what I needed for breakfast was protein and fiber in order to fill me up. A good choice is eggs. Michael and I eat eggs 4-5 days a week. Usually they are scrambled, sometimes I eat 2 fried eggs and a piece of toast. Adding to that a piece of bacon or turkey sausage and I&#8217;m full all morning.<\/p>\n<p>The other day I made 2 scrambled eggs with black beans and cheese. I didn&#8217;t need to eat my usually banana for a my morning snack because I was so full.
