I didn&#8217;t think I&#8217;d hear anything back from the company. I wrote to them yesterday afternoon (read it <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p116Lc-3tP\">here<\/a>) and received a response last night.<\/p>\n<p>Second, I&#8217;m disappointed with his response.<\/p>\n<p>Third, my first instinct was to respond: <strong>&#8220;Thank you for the timely yet condescending response to my valid concern. I will remember that the next time I buy sausages and go with Johnsonville.&#8221;<\/strong> But I calmed down and took a step back to sleep on it before I respond.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/evergood.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13513\" title=\"evergood\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/evergood.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"185\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">&#8221; Lisa, I will have our QC department follow up with your complaint.\u00a0 However, we are following USDA regulations as it pertains to Nutritional Labeling.\u00a0 Serving size is all related to the size of the &#8220;LINK&#8221; &#8230;.\u00a0our link size is\u00a0\u00a0\u00a04 links to 1 pound. Therefore, we are allowed to use the 2 oz. serving size.\u00a0 Our retail products are all 16 oz. (4 links per package).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Our competition for the the most part are 12-13 or 14 oz. with the same price per package as\u00a0(16oz.).\u00a0 Paying more for less.\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe, it is time for our Company to down size from\u00a0\u00a0 16 oz.\u00a0 then that would require us to make nutritional information&#8230;\u00a0relative to each link?? (less than 4\/1).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">My question is, when others have done this why has the price per package \u00a0stayed the same???\u00a0 Food for thought!\u00a0\u00a0 Congratulations on the weight loss.\u00a0 That is a tremendous accomplishment!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Signed, &#8220;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So yeah. I got a response. I knew if I ever got a response that it would start out with &#8220;We are following FDA regulations.&#8221;\u00a0 Sure, that&#8217;s fine. But my complaint was about misleading labels. Why not just print on there &#8220;1 link&#8221; is a serving size and it&#8217;s &#8220;350 calories&#8221; or something?
