When I was a single gal that was often a bowl of cereal. There&#8217;s nothing better than a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats for dinner!<\/p>\n<p>Last night I was supposed to have dinner with a friend but something  came up so Michael and I made a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">spicy <\/span>sausage frittata for dinner.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5481.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-13764\" title=\"IMG_5481\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5481-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5481-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5481-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nInstead of green chilies I used jalapenos. Layer them on the bottom of a glass baking dish. Salt and pepper to season. Old ways? What&#8217;s the first thing to go by the wayside when life just throws lemons at you?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For me the one constant in my life no matter what stressful, maddening, saddening struggle might happen to me is exercise. My exercise routine is pretty structured and I&#8217;m so used to it that it&#8217;s not a struggle for me to find motivation to work out. Plus exercising almost always makes me feel better. It&#8217;s an amazing stress-reliever. And it helps to have a partner (and friends) in my life that is active as well.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/snowshoeing2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-13792\" title=\"snowshoeing2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/snowshoeing2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/snowshoeing2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/snowshoeing2.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The first thing to go for me, though, is the food aspect. I slip back into old comforts of eating sugary desserts to deal with stress and feelings. Luckily the exercise that I do balances that out so that I don&#8217;t usually see much (or any) gain on the scale. But it&#8217;s not desirable. I don&#8217;t WANT to eat my feelings.
