We tried a different recipe for the pizza dough this time. I&#8217;m not sure which one Michael found online. It had a different consistency than last weekend&#8217;s first attempt. What I do know is that last night&#8217;s pizza dough was supposed to be for thin crust.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Screen-shot-2011-02-26-at-5.56.26-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14080\" title=\"Screen shot 2011-02-26 at 5.56.26 PM\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/Screen-shot-2011-02-26-at-5.56.26-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After meal planning and grocery shopping we picked up some pizza ingredients at Whole Foods. I had a $35 giftcard that I wanted to use. I picked up pizza ingredients like: fennel sausage, roasted red pepper, artichoke hearts and fresh mozzarella.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5542.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14077\" title=\"IMG_5542\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5542-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5542-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5542-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nMichael got one fennel sausage link and removed the sausage from the skin, browned it in the skillet and then made a sausage and pepper half of the pizza. The dough that we made this time was different&#8211;it had an elasticity to it that was somewhat frustrating. Every time Michael tried to knead it and roll it out in a pizza shape it shrank back up. It finally worked enough to put on the stone. It was smaller than last week&#8217;s too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5545.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14078\" title=\"IMG_5545\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5545-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5545-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5545-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWe mixed some tomato paste into the jar of pizza sauce to thicken it up, spread that on the dough and then added toppings. On my side of the pizza I chopped artichoke hearts, freshly marinated feta from my mom, sun-dried tomatoes and some basil.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5548.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14079\" title=\"IMG_5548\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5548-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5548-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5548-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOn Michael&#8217;s half of the pizza he put fresh mozzarella, basil, sausage and peppers. Then sprinkled some shredded Italian Cheese from Costco on top.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5552.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14082\" title=\"IMG_5552\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5552-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5552-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5552-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/IMG_5552.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe pizza wasn&#8217;t as photogenic as the first one we made. It also wasn&#8217;t perfectly round either. But it still tasted pretty good! I liked both kinds equally. The &#8220;Greek&#8221; side was tasty, a bit on the salt side, and the sausage and peppers was spicy.
