But I had already been looking forward to my weight session in the gym so I went despite the sun. I hit the treadmill first, warmed up and then did some speed intervals again. I did less than I did on Wednesday but I feel like I got in a good session.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6034.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16771\" title=\"IMG_6034\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6034-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6034-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6034-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6034.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI did 3.5 miles in 42 minutes. I&#8217;m happy with the intervals I&#8217;ve been doing lately. I think it will help prepare me for going back outside to run.And who am I kidding? The treadmill is pretty boring&#8211;even with a TV to distract me. It&#8217;s nice to break up the monotony.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6035.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16772\" title=\"IMG_6035\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6035-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6035-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6035-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6035.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAfter running I spent about 40 minutes doing weights. I mixed in three sets of squats throughout the weight lifting as well. I felt a lot better than I did the last time I attempted squats! I did all the usual upper-body weights but today I increased the weight on all of the machines! Yay! The Pec-Fly is now at 50 pounds and I think next week I could do 55 pounds with no problems. I was really stoked to be able to lift more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6042.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16773\" title=\"IMG_6042\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6042-163x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"163\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6042-163x300.jpg 163w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6042-557x1024.jpg 557w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6042.jpg 1114w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 163px) 100vw, 163px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI finished up with some ab work with the 10 pound medicine ball (Russian Twists and sit ups with the ball), stretched and Foam Rolled my legs until I couldn&#8217;t stand it anymore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gym Stats:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 1:41<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Calories Burned: 764<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6040.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16774\" title=\"IMG_6040\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6040-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6040-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6040-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6040.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWhen I got home I immediately had a recovery drink of chocolate milk but this time I added a scoop of protein powder to it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6927.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16775\" title=\"IMG_6927\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6927-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6927-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/IMG_6927.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Something else kind of exciting: Michael and I are going to sign up for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gorgeride.com\/\">Gorge Ride<\/a> Bike ride!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/hcrh2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16755\" title=\"hcrh2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/hcrh2-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/hcrh2-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/hcrh2.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s 46 days away&#8230;we&#8217;ll need to amp up our training so we can complete the 38.5 mile ride. It sounds like a lot of fun. The route is a combination of the Historic Highway in The Gorge, open to some cars but not many, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oregon.gov\/ODOT\/HWY\/HCRH\/trail.shtml\">HCRH Trail<\/a> which is not open to cars.
