I decided to just take a few extra hours in the morning off.<\/p>\n<p>I slept in a little bit, then I got to go to the gym. I had a quick snack of plain Greek yogurt with strawberries and then headed out. I was bit groggy this morning and not feeling too motivated.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/kitten.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-18000\" title=\"kitten\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/kitten-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/kitten-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/kitten.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI&#8217;m rarely a morning workout person&#8211;especially during the week. But I really do like how I feel when I get my workout done in the morning. I feel energetic and alert, I don&#8217;t need coffee to wake up, and it&#8217;s also nice being able to free up my evenings for fun things.<\/p>\n<p>The gym was practically empty when I arrived. I had a lovely run on the treadmill (despite my sore hamstrings from gardening).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mileage.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17998\" title=\"mileage\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mileage-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mileage-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mileage.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThen I got to enjoy a leisurely weight lifting session. I had plenty of time to kill, so I wasn&#8217;t rushed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/weights.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-18001\" title=\"weights\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/weights-e1305659851524-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/weights-e1305659851524-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/weights-e1305659851524.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI felt strong and I admit, I enjoyed watching my muscles work in the mirror! I am REALLY seeing definition now and it&#8217;s a cool feeling.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/weights2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-18002\" title=\"weights2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/weights2-e1305659919552-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/weights2-e1305659919552-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/weights2-e1305659919552.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI finished up with some squats, stretching, Foam Rolling and then headed home to get ready for my appointment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gym Stats:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 1:24<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Calories Burned: 651<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/amcalories.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-18003\" title=\"amcalories\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/amcalories-e1305660027926-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/amcalories-e1305660027926-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/amcalories-e1305660027926.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI was a bit hungry when I was finished with my workout. The greek yogurt was a good pre-workout meal, but I knew it was a long time til lunch. I made a quick breakfast:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7407.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17996\" title=\"IMG_7407\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7407-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7407-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7407-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n1 scrambled egg with chopped red onion, Canadian Bacon, a little cheese, black olives and refried black beans with jalapenos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7404.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17993\" title=\"IMG_7404\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7404-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7404-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7404-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI opened the can thinking it was regular black beans and then realized&#8230;oops it was refried beans. Oh well, they were yummy and went well with breakfast. 1 scrambled egg was enough with the beans and fixin&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7405.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17994\" title=\"IMG_7405\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7405-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7405-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/IMG_7405-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI&#8217;m happy with how my day started! I wish I could get my tired butt out of bed early to run before work. That would be nice&#8230;Cycling to work is as close as I will ever get to regularly exercising before work though.
