Too late we realized we didn&#8217;t have a few key ingredients. Instead of a Caesar I just made a regular salad with Balsamic and Oil.<\/p>\n<p>Michael blackened the salmon with his special concoction.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\"><strong>Blackening Spice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">Makes 1 Cup<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">4 tablespoons paprika<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">1 1\/2 tablespoons salt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">1 1\/2 tablespoons onion powder<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">1 1\/2 tablespoons garlic powder<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">1 tablespoon white pepper<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">1 tablespoon black pepper<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">1 1\/2 tablespoons cayenne pepper<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">2 tablespoons thyme<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#993300;\">2 tablespoons\u00a0oregano <\/span><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s very spicy!! Be warned!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">We used it a lot for different things. Sometimes Michael will pick up an Ahi Tuna steak and sear it with the blackening spice.
