Fat Kitty makes me happy. He’s the sweetest, cutest little snuggle-bug. And he’s obsessed<\/em>\u00a0with the bubbles. Whenever Michael and I watch TV now I blow bubbles for him to play with (no, not Michael, but the cat). We were watching the latest episode of Breaking Bad on Sunday night and it was Bubble Time.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nHe gets so cracked out on it. He jumps in the air, tries to catch the bubbles and is so <\/em>confused when they disappear. It’s a riot to watch him. The above picture is a little dark but if you look carefully you can see the bubbles.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend I did a little bit of gardening (in between rain bursts). It seems that my squash plant is not doing so well. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it:<\/p>\n

\nThe actual squash looks fine, it’s the leaves that look gross. I don’t know if it’s dying? Rotten? Mildew? What gives? Is there anything I can do to fix it?<\/p>\n

\nAt least my tomatoes and onions are still a success. I picked a ton of tomatoes in the last week and took half into work to share with coworkers. The onions are small but they are fragrant and delicious. \u00a0The zucchini is also flourishing but I think with the recent colder weather here it might be done.<\/p>\n

\nThe weather has gone from hot to cold and rainy just in a matter of days. This means I probably won’t be biking into work much. I see people commuting by bike in the pouring rain and they all looks so miserable. I’d much rather commute in the cold than in the rain! I hope next week looks better for that. I even got some new shoe covers for biking in cold weather:<\/p>\n

\nI bought a Groupon deal for Veloclothes.com and Michael helped me pick out the right pair for me<\/a>. It was a super quick service. I placed my order online and received the booties just a few days later. Very fast service! I hope I have the opportunity to use my booties soon!<\/p>\n

Other than those exciting updates my weekend was uneventful. I wasn’t feeling the best. I just had a nagging feeling of being run-down. I am not the type to spend my weekends doing nothing and that’s exactly what I did. Other than working out on Saturday<\/a> and swimming on Sunday I watched TV and napped<\/strong><\/em>! I am NOT a napper. That’s not a good sign if you ask me. I’m now taking extra vitamins and Emergen-C like crazy to avoid getting whatever yuck is going around!<\/p>\n
