If you&#8217;re just catching up on blogs, my weekend was busy. Here&#8217;s the recap:<\/p>\n<p>*I finally made it to the Portland State <a href=\"http:\/\/hundredtenpounds.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/06\/portland-state-farmers-market\/\">Farmer&#8217;s Market<\/a><\/p>\n<p>*I tried my first <a href=\"http:\/\/hundredtenpounds.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/05\/back-in-the-saddle\/\">Brick workout and got back on the bike<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>*We finally started using the <a href=\"http:\/\/hundredtenpounds.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/06\/saturday-night-grilling\/\">BBQ <\/a>again and<\/p>\n<p>*I took my mom to the <a href=\"http:\/\/hundredtenpounds.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/06\/portland-saturday-market\/\">Portland Saturday Market<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What did you do this weekend? And how did you fair Monday morning?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>My Monday morning did not start off with a bang, that&#8217;s for sure. I didn&#8217;t sleep well last night and woke up tired and groggy.<\/p>\n<p>I packed some snacks for today (nectarine, carrots, and cherries):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hundredtenpounds.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/lunch3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2599\" title=\"lunch\" src=\"http:\/\/hundredtenpounds.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/lunch3.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/lunch3.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/lunch3-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The good news is that the weather was great today for my lunchtime run.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hundredtenpounds.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/dscn1023.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2555\" title=\"DSCN1023\" src=\"http:\/\/hundredtenpounds.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/06\/dscn1023-e1275868168669.jpg?w=225\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/dscn1023-e1275868168669.jpg 2112w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/dscn1023-e1275868168669-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/dscn1023-e1275868168669-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>I used sunscreen and didn&#8217;t need a jacket. I ran the waterfront loop with a great time! <strong>I&#8217;ve become much faster and efficient.<\/strong> The good news with that is that I&#8217;m way faster than I used to be and it&#8217;s less of a struggle. The bad news? I finish the 5k or so loop on the waterfront faster and burned less calories. As a result I think I&#8217;m going to have to start running the loop twice to get a better workout!<\/p>\n<p>Since I finished\u00a0 the loop run in such a fast time, I decided to keep going. I ran some extra blocks and then headed back to the office. I think I added about 20 blocks today (round-trip) to my run. Therefore, my run time is longer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Stats:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time: 38:04<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Calories Burned: 445<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nike+ Pace: 9&#8217;32&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>QUESTION: If you&#8217;re a runner, how fast is your mile?<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend!
