The good news is that Thanksgiving and Christmas are JUST ONE DAY. That means if you do overeat a little, it&#8217;s not the end of the world. It&#8217;s one slip up, that can be reversed if dealt with\u00a0immediately.<\/p>\n<p>How is that possible, you wonder?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basically with continuing your exercise.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I think the biggest struggle a lot of people have with the holidays is the fact that they Fall Off the Wagon. I&#8217;ve done this too. I stop counting calories, I eat things I normally don&#8217;t eat, I skip workouts because of parties, out of town guests, traveling, etc.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/wagon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-9082\" title=\"wagon\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/wagon-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/wagon-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/wagon.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The trick is to KEEP AT IT. Don&#8217;t fall off that wagon because it&#8217;s so hard to get back on it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Buffets<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Office parties<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Dinner parties<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Thanksgiving\u00a0and Christmas dinner<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Family parties<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Cookie parties<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Christmas cookies, foodie gifts, holiday baking&#8230;.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The temptations are everywhere!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/60-Christmas-Cookies_full_article_vertical.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-9083\" title=\"60-Christmas-Cookies_full_article_vertical\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/60-Christmas-Cookies_full_article_vertical-253x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"253\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/60-Christmas-Cookies_full_article_vertical-253x300.jpg 253w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/60-Christmas-Cookies_full_article_vertical.jpg 324w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 253px) 100vw, 253px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Try and fit in some exercise like your normal routine dictates. If your normal routine is to run twice a week at lunchtime, do it. If your normal routine is to go to the gym after work, do it.<\/p>\n<p>The holidays can be <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">stressful<\/span>. Not enough time and being pulled in a million directions but we must take care of ourselves. I know for me, if I don&#8217;t get my exercise I will become stressed and\u00a0irritable. I won&#8217;t have that outlet for my stress which normally cures my\u00a0irritably&#8230;so without that I will eat \u00a0for comfort, drink more, eat things I wouldn&#8217;t normally want.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve already planned my workout routines for the coming holiday season.
