<\/p>\nWe had Logan’s 2nd birthday party this weekend! The little guy isn’t quite 2 but my mom was going to be out of town for his actual birthday so we did it early this year.<\/p>\n
This year the theme was cars. He’s obsessed!<\/p>\n

I pre-ordered pizza from Domino’s the day before to have it delivered at a certain time. I was a little nervous because I’ve never done that before but it turned out great. The pizza arrived piping hot right on time. I am really impressed and will definitely do that again for parties.<\/p>\n
We had an assortment of beers, hard cider, hard root beer plus lots of different sodas.<\/p>\n

This year was so much fun! The party was a huge success and Logan knew what was going on and he was having a great time. It was so fun to watch him understand the party was for me and to see him smile.<\/p>\n
My friend Star made her amazing birthday cake. Dark chocolate with homemade cream cheese frosting. She decorated it especially for the birthday boy.<\/p>\n

Last year he cried during cake time. LOL This year, he LOVED it. He didn’t quite understand that blowing-out-the-candles part, but that’s ok.<\/p>\n

I think everyone knew that cars were his favorite currently. He opened presents and got lots of cars and a new playmate for his cars. He got a bunch of cool books and clothes and new shoes! He was super excited.<\/p>\n

The golf set is from my dad. My mom told me that he picked it out himself for Logan.<\/p>\n

Finally, we showed Logan the gift from us. A balance bike and helmet! He’s still might be a little bit young for it, but we are going to give it a try.<\/p>\n

It was a great party. Fun and exciting and so great for Logan. It was a nice weekend with my mom visiting. We got time to visit and I got some time for myself. It was a good balance of everything.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
