TRAIN FOR HOOD TO COAST.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Survive Hood to Coast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. ENJOY Hood to Coast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. I am slowly recovering from it. The good news: My legs healed REALLY quickly. The bad news: my chest pain is still hanging around. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">It&#8217;s now September and time to think about some new goals.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">To be honest, not having something <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">EPIC <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">and HUGE to train for, leaves me a little baffled as to what to do!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">I&#8217;ve decided that I <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><strong>cannot<\/strong> <\/span><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">do the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Las Vegas Half Marathon<\/span> this year. I recently posted that I was torn about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/?p=5339\">whether or not to sign up<\/a>. \u00a0There were a lot of pros but the cons significantly outweighed them. I just don&#8217;t have the money to do it this year and honestly, I think my body needs to rest after Hood to Coast!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">My Goals for\u00a0September:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><strong>1. Do some research for a 5k or 10k to do this Fall.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><strong>2. Recreate the recipes Michael and I learned at our Tapas cooking class.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><strong>3. <\/strong><\/span><strong>Plan with Michael what cycling events we&#8217;ll do in 2011.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><strong>4. Lose 3 pounds.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">I like my goals for September. I <\/span><\/strong><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><em>think <\/em>they are doable. I haven&#8217;t been trying to lose much weight this summer because I was more concerned with my training and being prepared for H2C. Now that that&#8217;s over and I have no immediate training plans, I think I can focus on trying to get back on track with my food. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Now my body needs to cooperate!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><br \/>\n<em><strong>QUESTION: What are your goals for September?
