I wrote them all out in individual monthly post and saved them as Drafts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/halloween.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7471\" title=\"\u00058.3.1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/halloween-253x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"253\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/halloween-253x300.jpg 253w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/halloween-864x1024.jpg 864w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/halloween.jpg 1525w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 253px) 100vw, 253px\" \/><\/a>Imagine my surprise when I opened October&#8217;s draft and read this:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">1. Plan my\u00a0running\u00a0schedule for 2011. 15k? Half Marathon? Triathlon?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">2. Start a consistent weight training routine and stick to it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">3. Lose 3 pounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">4. Take a Spin Class.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Interesting! I was sort of forced to start a weight training program and as a result, I HAVE lost 3 pounds! Funny how the Universe works.<\/p>\n<p>In light of my recent injury, my goals have shifted. My new goals for the next five weeks are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>My New Goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Follow the doctor&#8217;s Return to Running Plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Do the strengthening exercises my doctor gave me.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Continue my weight training routine &#8211; focusing on my arms and core.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Lose 2 pounds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I think they are realistic goals. They are goals I need to be focusing on. I hope that the November weigh-in has another happy surprise for me but if I simply maintain what I&#8217;ve lost so far I&#8217;ll be happy.<\/p>\n<p>I know it&#8217;s a bit late to be posting October Goals&#8211;half way through the month&#8211;but there ya go.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>QUESTION: What were your goals for October and how are you doing with them?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dinner last night after the gym was really pretty good for being leftovers. I had leftover rice and wanted to eat up the last of the Trader Joe&#8217;s Chicken Shu Mai.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/lunch1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7518\" title=\"lunch1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/lunch1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/lunch1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/lunch1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Brown rice, shu mai and sriracha sauce, with a little bit of soy sauce.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/lunch2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7519\" title=\"lunch2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/lunch2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/lunch2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/lunch2.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>A little bit of that sriracha sauce goes a long way for me.
