<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nI’ve been looking forward to it for a few months now. It was definitely needed. It was so nice to have a night away from being “mom” having to do responsible things. LOL <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We met up and checked into our room and then walked around. My friend had been to Edgefield once or twice before for a meal or concert but didn’t know much about it. I gave her a quick tour and we grabbed a drink and sat in the sun for a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Next up was the pool! Yay! It’s my favorite thing about Edgefield. It’s warm almost like a hot tub, but not too hot, and it’s just so relaxing. It’s just a soaking pool so not for swimming but delightful. And there’s a poolside bar. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n I think we spent like 2 hours hanging out in the pool and then got cleaned up for dinner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n After dinner we had a decision to make: go to the poolhall and hang out or play darts or something…or go back to the pool. Guess what we picked?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yep the pool! It was so cool at night! And I think it definitely helped me sleep really good that night. I slept ALL night long! (I know, not exciting but it is when you have a baby at home!) I definitely recommend visitors to Portland check out Edgefield. It’s a nice little escape from the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We got breakfast the next morning and then checked out. I was excited to see the kiddos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I enjoyed my fruity umbrella drinks and lounging around with no plan or schedule.
