I can’t believe we are entering the holiday season, already. I mean, it was just Halloween like yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two weekends in a row, Michael and I got to have a little time away from these cuties. Last weekend my parents came to visit. It was so nice to have the help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Michael and I went down to Dundee, Oregon to pick up our wine subscriptions. It’s not too far from Portland and it’s a pretty area. Lots of rolling fields with farms and wineries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We belong to Dobbes and De Ponte Wineries–so delicious! I love Dobbes, honestly. Besides Sokol Blossor, it’s one of my favorites in Dundee. We were members there for a long time (pre-covid). De Ponte is a new one we joined and they make very good, bold and earthly red wines. I don’t love their whites (and they only have a few) but they shine with the reds (Michael’s favorite). If you are in the area, Dobbes is worth a stop. Definitely get a bottle of their Grenache Blanc<\/a>–one of my all time favorite wines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had lunch, it was sunny out and so nice to relax and chill out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dobbes has a great tasting room in Dundee. It used to be kind of small and then covid made them make the outdoors area bigger. They have partially enclosed areas, heating, a stage, an outdoor bar, etc. It’s really cool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This weekend Michael’s mom and stepdad came over to babysit for a few hours and we went out to lunch and then hit the outlet mall. We had lunch at Oswego Grill<\/a>. It was so tasty! I got the Salmon Bowl with goat cheese, cranberries, apples, peppers, brussels sprouts and butternut squash. It was SO good. Like, I am still thinking about that salad. Yum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then Michael and I split a piece of the pumpkin cheesecake, also delicious. It was a really good lunch and nice afternoon out. We are going to try and plan more of these, like once a month, to just get a break. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m glad the weather has been pretty decent this fall, we are doing a lot of walks, but the weekends have been busy and we haven’t had the opportunity to go do too much stuff. Maybe it’s also the season of life we are in with a new baby–but for example, we never made it to a pumpkin patch (kinda sad about that) and never made it to Davis Graveyard<\/a> for halloween. There were a bunch of hikes I wanted to do as a family but physical limitations for both Michael and me made that not possible. I am making lots of hiking plans for spring, though!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been baking a ton of bread lately, and giving it out to people. <\/p>\n\n\n
