We love Hawaii so much and have been to the Big Island twice, but Maui holds a special spot in our hearts. It was where we had our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/?p=44551\">honeymoon<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1609.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_1609.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62079\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We stayed in Kihei for our honeymoon but we went to Lahaina a few times. Maui is a magical place. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/?p=44421\">beaches are perfect.<\/a> The scenery is perfect. So many <a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/?p=44425\">happy memories<\/a>, fantastic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/?p=44422\">food in Lahaina<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_2011-2.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.110pounds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_2011-2.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62080\" width=\"840\" height=\"560\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>My heart breaks for the Hawaiian people who were displaced, for the hundreds of years of history destroyed.
