But when her boss is murdered, she starts looking into the circumstances and finds something much darker and more powerful than just Hollywood scandals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This book was so good! Edge of your seat, keep reading past your bedtime fun.<\/p>\n\n\n 3- None of This is True by Lisa Jewell<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This book is a slow-burn. The way it was written and the way the story unfolds is wild and I am still thinking about it. I still don’t know what was “true”. The story is different, and riveting and uncomfortable and tackles some pretty heavy topics–so trigger warning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Alix is a podcaster. Josie is kind of a quiet, weird woman who wants to tell her story. But as the story unfolds, Alix realizes there is something going on that is much darker and it starts to invade her own life. There was a little bit of Single-White-Female vibe to this story as well. I recommend the book but be warned: it’s a twisted ride that will make you stay up way too late to finish reading it!<\/p>\n\n\n 4 – Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n At first I wasn’t sure I wanted to read a book about covid. But this one was done really well. I don’t want to give away too much because the book has a very interesting twist I didn’t see coming. But this book, and the way the story of covid was told, was so different it didn’t feel tired.
