After the #fitblog chat on Twitter, I ate leftovers from Sunday night:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It was just as good the second time around. I think it’s my new favorite Crockpot creation. I added some Trader Joe’s Pineapple Salsa to it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After dinner, Michael attempted to teach me how to play poker. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Fat Kitty tried to help with the poker playing. Michael is a great poker player and he’s a good teacher. Very patient. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>We started with 7-Card Stud and then switched to Texas Hold ‘Em.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It was so much fun! It was nice turning off the TV, spending time together doing something, and it really gave Michael a time to shine because he’s so good at it.<\/p>\n

I have a horrible Poker Face.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Michael can read me like a billboard. He, on the other hand, has an excellent Poker Face. Playing poker was so fun and it made me remember our last trip to Vegas….<\/p>\n

About this time last year, a friend contacted Michael and me about free tickets to UFC 106. Our friend’s company was a sponsor for the show and had extra tickets! One thing lead to another and Michael cashed in some airline miles, arranged a hotel room at The Palms through his dad, and we were on a plane at the last minute!<\/p>\n

It was literally last minute. Thursday night we bought tickets, Friday afternoon we arrived in Vegas! Our room at The Palms was magnificent! Humongous with the most gorgeous jacuzzi tub I’ve ever seen.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We had such a good time and being crazy spontaneous like that was exciting. It was definitely not like me at all. Michael surprised me with a fancy dinner at CraftSteak in the MGM.<\/p>\n

It was an amazing dinner! The BEST MEAL<\/a> I’ve ever eaten, hands down. The Martinis were Knock-You-On-Your-Ass strong too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The next day we went to UFC 106. We had fantastic seats.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>We had a great time at the show. Afterward Michael played lots of poker and I sought out a roulette table in my price range. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I broke even with roulette but it was a great time! I miss Vegas. The weather was just right. The casinos were decorated for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We flew home Sunday after a whirl-wind weekend.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Spontaneity is fun!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I don’t think I’ll ever be good enough at poker to play in Vegas. But I’m having fun learning!<\/p>\n
