Lovely your brother came to visit. How fun.

    One sibling? Trying to remember?

My hubby eats a lot of weird things in the form of a salad. Just starts with a plate of raw spinach and adds.

No weight history. Watches carbs now that we are older (56). He is an interesting science experiment to observe. Is totally avoiding middle age spread. Very lean and athletic still. (But not as fast as he once was.)

We often do salads like that — taco salad instead of a burrito, fish on top of salad, etc. I don’t know why I thought the lunch as salad was weird, but it was very tasty so I got over it! šŸ™‚

Oh and yes, just one sibling.

I love the way Logan is looking at your brother in the first pic! Okay – question – were the pickled squash crunchy like pickles, or soft and just pickled? Curious minds want to know! šŸ˜€

I do, too. Logan is thinking “who is this GIANT?!” haha!

The pickled squash was slightly crunchy like pickles but soft in the middle. It’s hard to describe but they were outstanding and the perfect texture.
