Can’t bike safely around here – too many crazy maniac drivers flying around two lane roads at 60 mph! But, I think it says so much for your dedication that you bike to the gym and then workout. Most people would be thrilled to do one or the other!

I like that…dedication. Thanks Diane! It was a fun experiment I will definitely repeat.

I have used my bike to go the grocery store, a lunch date and ice cream. There are not a lot of bike friendly roads here- so I don’t get to ride as much as I like for these types of things. I do plan on riding to my gym for a muscle class once I am fully recovered from my foot injury. It is an 8 mile ride there. I can’t wait!!!

I would love to use my bike for errands like that. Do you carry a big back pack or do you have saddle bags?

I have been using a back pack for now. Do you have saddle bags? I might have to look into that. The back pack works fine.

I don’t have saddle bags. They aren’t ideal for long rides and I don’t want to mess with taking them on and off…

I’m embarassed to admit, but my gym is close enough to bike to and I haven’t yet taken the bike there plunge! Usually it’s because I go there relatively late and come home to go right to bed. One of these days!

Try it! You’ll feel energized and triumphant.
