A good ride all in all, even with crowds and wet weather. I don’t like cycling that much in the rain, though.

My vent this week was my paycheck missing a zero on the end. Now I have to wait for another check to be sent to me. Thank goodness I set money aside.

The crowds didn’t bother me. It was cool to see them all out in the rain protesting. 🙂

Yeah I’d much rather bike in the cold than the rain. I was soaked. The new shoe covers I bought were too small so I couldn’t use them. My shoes and socks were soaked. I didn’t have a plastic guard on my helmet so that was soaked. Ugh!

I’d be bummed about my paycheck too. I hope it gets sorted out asap.

You are BRAVE! I would be WAY too nervous to ride my bike in the dark. I can do the running thing, but not the biking thing in the dark. Well done!

I hope whatever happened this week gets resolved soon. It sounds like no good…

I’ve been fighting off a sickness for about two weeks now. I don’t feel great but I don’t feel entirely sick yet. It sucks!

Yes, biking in the dark was scary. I only had to do it for about 15 minutes or so and then it got lighter out.

Okay, so, no fun! But you did it! I’d love to be able to bike to work. Best wishes for drier roads in the future! =)

Thanks Marie! I got into the house, completely soaked, bummed out and near tears. I know it’s a stupid thing to let get to me. But it was sweet that Michael was there to cheer me up.

Hope you have a good weekend!

        I completely understand!!

You have a good one too –

I’ve been hiking/walking (half trail, half road) to work on Fridays since spring, and I really enjoy it, but with the sun waking up later and later, it’s harder to do. So I definitely feel that pain.

It’s been a not great week, but I can’t point any specific thing. General work and life meh-ness, that, actually all things considered, is all pretty sweet.

Here’s to a nice week and change in whatever circumstances are bringing us down!
