Yes, I need to make attainable, measurable goals! That’s key!

I like your goal of limiting alcohol intake – I think I get carried away with the wine some days!

The wine always does me in! It’s so easy to get into the habit of having a glass or two with dinner.

Gorgeous!!! I MUST make it down to Mount Hood one of these days.

I haven’t been hiking much these last few months, but I went snowshoeing on Sunday and xc skiing yesterday – now I feel totally renewed and inspired. And sore and tired, of course. :^)

I’m so glad your knee felt good, both for your sake and for the selfish reason that I want to see more photos like these from you! 😀

You would love it! While I’m more apt to do a trail or groomed route, there’s tons of backcountry snowshoeing available on Mt. Hood. I’m just not a skilled navigator yet to try it. I bet you’d love exploring it.

I have a weekend planned in the snow in a few weeks. So check back for pictures of Hoodoo! 🙂

It was definitely a good start to 2013. I was so happy we made it up there.

Hi Lisa Eirene – My 1st workout begins in 5 minutes. Taking down all the Christmas decorations, boxing and putting in the attic:)

Happy New Year! Enjoy your first workout. 🙂

Gah! That looks like so much fun! I’ve never been snowshoeing–that’s fantastic. What a great way to begin the new year. 🙂

    1. Lisa Eirene

Oh give it a try! It’s so much fun and a fantastic workout.

I need to make up my goals for this month before I forget!

I don’t like snow, but your snow shoeing pics manage to make it look like fun!

When it’s a nice day out, the snow isn’t miserable at all.

What a fun workout trip! I should get my brother to take me since he’s the resident snowshoe expert. I too am planning on doing monthly goals. I do better when I have a short time limit so I can always have the countdown and can tell myself the end is soon – the open ending goals (loose x pounds) I almost always never make.

    1. Lisa Eirene

Agreed! Having just a month to complete something is so much easier for me. Let me know if you try snowshoeing!!
