More light reading this month LOL Between Two Worlds has been on my TBR list for a while, good to hear that you enjoyed it as well. I don’t know if I could stomach the Hiding in Plain Sight, though – as you said, it will bring back all the nasty feels that are just now starting to abate. But it would be interesting to see it picked apart and get affirmation that we all weren’t crazy thinking for 4 years.
I recently listened to a really good book for our book club that you might like. It’s titled “We Begin at the End” by Chris Whitaker. I’m sure the book is a good read, but the narrator, George Newbern, made it SUCH a great listening experience. One of the main characters is a scrappy teen-age girl who does everything she can to make herself unlikable, but you root for her just the same. Language warning on this, though, she has a potty-mouth! (which actually suits the character, IMHO) I am currently reading a book my son recommended to me “A Little Life” – wowza! It’s a very impactive book! I’ve actually had to put it down a couple of times because I was upset with things that were happening. It’s 800+ pages, but I’m reading every spare minute I can. Trigger warning on this one, for suicidal thoughts and cutting. I guess I’m not one to talk about heavy topic-based reading, am I? Thanks for the shares, Lisa!

I know, a lot of heavy stuff! I’ve read a few trump books lately and it’s a little too soon honestly. They are insightful, but I think waiting awhile would be better!

Thanks for the recommendations! I will check them out
