I love my Nook – so great to have unlimited books all in one little package!!
I’m currently reading Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn – very good so far!

Sharp Objects was a great book. Very disturbing!

My favorite recent book is The Invention of Wings. The Wronged Sons sounds really intriguing!

Oh The Wronged Sons is a GREAT book, but there again, I might be a little bit biased… ;0)

I love books! But I can’t yet get on board with a Kindle. I like real books. The smell, the tactile, everything. I’m sure it’s convenient on a long trip, not to lug 10 books. But so far I can’t give them up.

I was totally that person too. I refused. I was so against the concept and I LOVE real books. But man, do I love my Kindle. It’s easy, I have immediate access to books, I don’t have to go to the library as much. I can only take 1 thing on vacation as opposed to 10 books like you said. Love it.

I have a kindle but its my reading choice of last resort. There is something I like about having the book in my hands. I recently read The Book Thief and really enjoyed it.

I want to read that book.

Have you read Resolve by JJ Hensley yet? It was my favorite book from 2013. It’s a murder/thriller set during the Pittsburgh Marathon. I loved how the story unfolds with each mile marker. Lots of twists.

I recently read a great novel by author Lubos Borik called Human Source Code (www.lubosborik.com). In our modern day and age we deal with a lot of issues over privacy and rights violations, and this novel gives us some insight into how these issues may translate into the future. Exploring the frightening aspect of gene and DNA manipulation, the author gives us a window into what could very well be the future of “control” over human beings. An organization “profiling” people because of their DNA and a detective eager to expose them, this one is a fast paced and cerebral read. Highly recommend!! Definitely a rainy day book read 🙂
