On Saturday Michael smoked a pastrami (after it brined for 5 days) and we had his mom over for Mother’s Day dinner. The pastrami turned out great!
I made a fruit salad and a green salad and made the lemon vinaigrette dressing I posted here. Everything was so delicious.
It would have been nice to have dinner outside but the weather didn’t really cooperate.
Sunday morning I got up to pancakes! We had the banana macadamia nut pancake mix I bought in Hawaii. It was so good! I could definitely taste the macadamia nuts.
After breakfast I went swimming for the first time in two weeks (it was recently closed again). It was so nice to swim and relax. Then we went to a new park in the afternoon.
It was a lovely weekend!
