I am sorry! I felt that way too yesterday. i kept saying “i’m sick, I should be able to eat what i want.” Ug! the good thing is, today is a brand new day!

Just look at today as a new day and don’t beat yourself up!! Promise…you are better than that! πŸ™‚

At least you were able to say, today’s a new day. I always feel super guilty about the night before but it’s not like you can do anything about it. And at least you went a little overboard on Mexican yummyness

Guacamole is very hard for me to resist…..

Yeah mexican food is soooo hard to resist.. especially chips and guac or salsa. But, think about it like this… its ONE meal you overate at. For me in my pre-weight loss days, I ate every single meal like that every day to the point of feeling overly full. The fact that you feel bad about it after one meal shows just how much you’ve changed!

Beth, you make an excellent point! I DID eat horrible in the past. I’ve changed my ways. A slip up once in awhile isn’t the end of the world because I don’t eat like that all the time. Thanks for the reminder. πŸ˜‰

I tend to do that once a week. If we go out to dinner and I have wine, all my good intentions go. If it makes you feel better, my body actually does better when I do this. It seems to confuse my metabolism a little. I actually have lost more weight by incorporating a “cheat day” into my week. It might not work for everyone, but it does for me.

Actually I’ve heard that too. If you mix up your eating patterns it keeps you from getting into a rut and it also helps your metabolism.
