I can’t wait for your review on the movie! I liked it…it had humor that runners can totally relate to.

As for snow–Utah can definitely handle it and I am SO glad for that!

I’m really excited about the movie. When the snow came I started to freak out about not being able to get there!

We get a lot of snow here. A couple inches is no big deal. Even 4 or 5 as long as it doesn’t come down in 1 hour, we are fine. In fact, we are supposed to get 5 inches starting in the overnight hours. It is still winter around here.

Our city does a very good job keeping the roads in good shape when there is snow. If only people would do as well with their sidewalks!

I’ve been watching your snowmaggedon on your blog. I’m impressed daily with the amount of snow you guys get–yet you still get to the gym! Seriously, Portland shuts down. πŸ™‚

EXACTLY !! I LOVE that video!!

it’s insane how this city just shuts down! we’re both working from home today (lucky to be able to do that!) and the television had snow coverage preempting the entire Today Show and Good Morning America. nuts.

have a great time tonight!! πŸ˜€

WHAT snow coverage? Seriously?? That is too funny.

Hopefully the theatre isn’t closed because of the EPIC snow! πŸ˜‰

Yea, I’m jealous of all your snow. This has been the lamest winter of all times in WISCONSIN. We have maybe an inch right now. LAME!! Lucky you, you get to go out & snowshoe again!! WeeEeeeEeee!!
And, yea, those WOOT people SUCK!!

    1. Lisa Eirene

I’ve never been to Wisconsin but I imagine it’s a very snowy place! Weird!

Aw! I hope you guys get to go out tonight! Stay safe and warm πŸ™‚ Although, coming from Chicago… I’m inclined to think that you guys can handle it!

    1. Lisa Eirene

      I’m pretty sure I couldn’t handle a Chicago winter.

My current city is Orlando. The only white stuff falling from our sky is bird poop. If snow fell here they would declare a natural disaster.

As you know, I live in the same metro area as you πŸ™‚ And I was super excited that today work was canceled! I watched TV, read magazines, took a long nap, did a crossword puzzle… It was great.

That sounds NICE. I got to enjoy a late start at work, which was nice. I watched some Netflix and then went to work. A nice way to start a work day. πŸ™‚

Well, I am from the D.C. area, and if our reputation for not being able to deal with *any* snow didn’t make it out west before, I’m pretty sure it did last year when President Obama cracked jokes about it. (Although in our defense we had several snowmaggedons last year with over a foot of snow each!) Even though we do get several inches of snow several times a year, it still shuts down everything. We had schools CLOSE with 1-2″ of snow! We have snow plows driving around when the snow is forecast to arrive in 12 hours, but what good does that do??

But, I now live at the top of a very steep hill, and my rear-wheel drive car can’t handle it if there is even a bit of snow on the road, so I either work at home or leave work early if there is a snowflake in the air!

I hate bad customer service – thanks for the warning!

    1. Lisa Eirene

I don’t think my little car would be very good in the snow. And we live around lots of hills too!

How funny! I live in Portland too and my sentiments match yours. I couldn’t believe they closed my daughter’s school – all metro area schools for that matter – for what amounted to a half inch of snow. I am guessing our east coast counterparts who have been pelted with “real” snow all winter roll their eyes when they see us on the news.

      I know! It’s pretty pathetic isn’t it?
