HI Lisa. Beer in a movie theater? Yes please. (I just bought a bottle of that IPA in Bellingham last weekend, I made a “sampler” 6 pack of beer we’ve never tried, and am waiting for Dennis to get home before we try them. fun) Great looking pizza and yay leftovers indeed. Have a great week.

That sounds great! I’d love to know which beers you got to try.

Yes, beer and popcorn was a nice combination for the movies. 😀

I loved Cabin In The Woods! I generally save comedies and the serious, artsy flicks for home viewing and only go to the theater for big effects and thrills. Cabin In The Woods hit on everything I want when I go to the movie theater. I also enjoy IPAs. In fact, it was on my first and only trip to Portland a few years ago that I really started to get into IPAs. We were at a wedding at one of the McMenamins’s properties and I couldn’t get enough of the house IPA. In general, I was very impressed with all of the local beers I sampled in and around Portland. Between that, the cool vibe and the gorgeous scenery, I hope to return before too long. You are so lucky to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the US!

Hey Beki – That’s great that you had a good time in Portland and got to try our beers. I might be biased but…they are good! 🙂 McMenemin’s is a cool place to go if you are out of town. Do you remember which one you were at?

Cabin in the Woods was way different than I was expecting. In the first 5 minutes Michael and I both wondered if we had gone to the wrong theater. LOL
