Just a little info: “Steel Cut Oats or Scottish Oats or Irish Oats- These are groats which have been cut into two or three pieces. Cooking time is considerably longer than for rolled oats.” In my opinion, Scottish oats taste better than regular oatmeal. The oats are bigger, chewier and it’s not as creamy.

Don’t you love Scottish oats! I mix them with Rye cereal. I make them the night before and they absorb all the almond milk so I have a Huge bowl in the morning. I love volume foods. I work out 6 days a week, but am thinking about cutting back to 5. I find that I don’t have the best workout by day 6 because I am so tired.

A day off is good and needed sometimes! Relax and enjoy it.

    What a crazy looking cloud!
I try to get 5 days of exercise in – unless I have a race coming up (like this weekend) then I will schedule a few extra days off!

Good for you! I am not so good at the whole tapering thing. I need to do it though!

    Whoa! Bizarre clouds are bizarre!

I’m exercising every day right now, but I don’t know how sustainable that will be in the long run.

Yoga and tv sound like a perfect cure to how you’re feeling 🙂

I usually exercise around 3 or 4 days a week. I walk a lot because I dont have a car so that keeps me pretty active.

    1. hundredtenpounds

I think walking is a great workout.

I workout pretty much every day, I just vary the intensity. I’m so used to being active now that it just makes me feel better!

    1. hundredtenpounds

I’m pretty much the same way. My swims have become more about being a recovery activity than anything else at this point.

  8. redie1

Right now I’m working out every day, but normally I shoot for 4 days a week of running/walking (above and beyond normal day’s activity) and 2 days of yoga. I know Yoga isn’t a strenuous workout, but it makes my muscles happy, so I figure it’s worth it.

I respect anyone that does yoga on a regular basis. It’s a hard (but awesome) activity!
