SO GOOD to meet you, Lisa! finally, right? my life will calm down and I’ll have more time to spend – we definitely need to plan something with Tiffany, perhaps a HH at Departure…

let’s see… what is everyone doing in Portland? Voodoo Doughnuts, of course! πŸ˜‰

Lisa, I loved that you crashed Fitblogin. Good stuff. I totally agree. Weight Maintenance is a whole other area of life. And we’ll spend much more of our lives in Weight Maintenance than in weight loss once we each figure out what is required for weight maintenance.

It’s so highly individual, making & customizing your own maintenance template. If I had read Refuse to Regain sooner, I could have saved myself a lot of re-gain. Very important panel to have at fit blogging- IMO.

Where is fitblogging next year? I have an urge to go to PaleoFX (Austin in March/April).

I think it’s a crucial part of weight loss and it’s often not addressed. I don’t know that many blogs that are “maintenance” blogs. In fact, I can only name a handful. I’m sure there are more that I am unaware of but…wish there were more!

Looks like you got the benefit of it without all the expense, best of both worlds! You pretty much had to crash it with it right in your backyard.

    1. Lisa Eirene

I definitely did! I got to meet some people and hang out. I didn’t partake in any of the events or swag giveaways, just kinda lingered and talked with people. It was a cool experience.

Glad you had fun! I doubt I’ll ever make it to a blogging conference. I’m sure I’d like it, but so little time…

  9. Lori

I wondered if you were going to go to this since it was so close. I haven’t done any fitness conferences, but I have done other ones for hobbies and they are a lot of fun!

    1. Lisa Eirene

It defending piqued my interest. Maybe next year.

Oh wish I could have met you at FitBloggin’. I was there too, and you could have crashed the early boot camp I taught on Friday. Incredible group of people and make sure to come next time! Love Portland- miss Portland tons. Lived there for 6 years and hope to move back in the next 5 years. Enjoy it for me… while in town ran with friends to Washington Park Rose Garden, ran the Waterfront Loop, Mt. Tabor Stairs Class, Moonstruck, Petite Provence, Yoga in the Pearl, Cupcake Jones, Powell’s and so much more! Have a great holiday week!

Oh I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to meet you! It sounds like you had a great time. I love Petite Provence. Their french onion soup is amazing.
